Where Our Legacy Began
On Saturday, June 20, 2020, the Naturally Alluring Nu Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was proudly chartered in Livingston, Alabama. Founded by ten visionary and dedicated women, the chapter was established on a strong foundation of sisterhood, leadership, and service to the communities of East Mississippi and West Alabama.
The charter members whose vision and commitment brought Nu Alpha Sigma to life are Soror Tonya Burroughs, Soror Michelle Ezell, Soror Whitney Finch, Soror Ashley Hardy, Soror Rachel Harris, Soror Latiqua London, Soror LaPrease Sparks, Soror Ebonee Spinks, Soror Adrian Widemon, and Soror Kimberly Wilson. Their collective leadership and unwavering dedication continue to inspire the chapter's enduring legacy of Greater Service, Greater Progress, and excellence.

The nickname, Naturally Alluring, is a fitting and meaningful reflection of the Nu Alpha Sigma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, and its ten charter members. Chartering during the unprecedented challenges of the global pandemic, the chapter embodies a quiet strength, resilience, and authenticity that did not rely on circumstance or convenience, but on purpose, sisterhood, and unwavering commitment.
