NU ALPHA SIGMA HISTORY
On Saturday, June 20, 2020, the Naturally Alluring Nu Alpha Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated proudly received its charter in Livingston, Alabama. The chapter was established by ten dedicated charter members whose commitment and leadership laid the foundation for Nu Alpha Sigma’s legacy of service and sisterhood. The charter members are: Soror Tonya Burroughs, Soror Michelle Ezell, Soror Whitney Finch, Soror Ashley Hardy, Soror Rachel Harris, Soror Latiqua London, Soror LaPrease Sparks, Soror Ebonee Spinks, Soror Adrian Widemon, and Soror Kimberly Wilson.

WHY NATURALLY ALLURING?
The nickname, Naturally Alluring, is a fitting and meaningful reflection of the Nu Alpha Sigma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, and its ten charter members. Chartering during the unprecedented challenges of the global pandemic, the chapter embodies a quiet strength, resilience, and authenticity that did not rely on circumstance or convenience, but on purpose, sisterhood, and unwavering commitment. The ten NAS charter members exemplified grace under pressure, adaptability in uncertainty, and excellence in action, qualities that are naturally compelling and deeply rooted in the values of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
Naturally Alluring speaks to the chapter’s organic ability to attract, inspire, and uplift through service, leadership, and genuine connection. Despite physical distance and societal disruption, the Nu Alpha Sigma chapter established a strong foundation built on unity, vision, and perseverance.
